Electrical engineering is a field of science and technology related to electricity and deals with the theory and application of physical phenomena in the field of electricity and magnetism in various branches of the economy. It covers issues related to electricity: generation, transmission and use; measurement techniques of physical quantities and issues related to the processing and analysis of electrical signals. The field of study Electrotechnics is appropriate for people interested in science and technology. It is used to acquire substantive knowledge and practical skills related to the design, construction and operation of various types of electrical devices and systems used in various industries and services: production, security, switching, measuring and control. Students of Electrical Engineering learn computer-aided design of electrical networks and installations, protection and protection as well as operation of electrical devices. They will learn about the latest technologies and devices in the field of electricity use, design of the so-called intelligent buildings, microprocessor technology, design of measurement systems and diagnostic and monitoring systems, operation and programming of control systems. The aim of education in the field of Electrical Engineering is to prepare specialists with the knowledge, practical skills and social competences necessary to work in many areas of the economy related to electricity or to run their own business in this area.
